Pillow Box Template
Pillow boxes are attractive and easy to make for that special gift or occasion. They can be made in various sizes, and you can cut from decorative papers, stamp or otherwise embellish, or use your Craft Robo to cut or draw designs on your template.
Pillow Box Assembly Instructions
- Fold the box in the middle at centre score line, with any pattern/design to the outside.
- Fold the short outer flap inwards at the outer score line.
- Carefully fold along all four curved score lines towards the inside of the box.
- . Place adhesive along the outer edge of the small folded flap, and stick the long edges together.
- Fold the box in the middle at centre score line, with any pattern/design to the outside.
- Hold the pillow box by its straight sides in one hand, and squeeze it open slightly.
- With one finger placed centrally at the top of the curve, press flap gently but firmly inwards until it "pops" down.
- Repeat with opposite flap; you can add a small dab of glue at this point to seal them; it may help if you put one hand inside the box to support the inner flap while you do this.
- Repeat for the top flaps.
- Insert your gift and close the box (you can use a transparent seal), and tie up with the ribbon and attach the matching gift tag.
And you're done!
